Ministries

Who is who in the Liturgy?

While our ordained ministers lead the service, all members of the parish are the ministers of the church who assist those attending one of our Services to offer worship to God.

Acolytes

For boys and girls in the 4th grade and older. Training sessions are held as children feel they are ready. Contact one of our parish clergy to express your interest.

Chalice Bearers

Assist the priest and deacon at Mass by helping distribute the chalice to the faithful who attend. On rare occasions Chalice Bearers are also called upon to serve as Lay Readers and Acolytes. Contact one of our parish clergy if you are interested.

St. John
s Choir

A traditional choir for young adults and adults with rehearsals on Thursdays from 7-8. Volunteers are always welcome.

Lay Readers

These individuals play an integral role in all of our Services by studying and proclaiming the Word of God.
